Making the subject of your photos look nice

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

People always classify themselves either as photogenic or not.  In other words some people think they look good in pictures. While others think they do not look good in photos.  Well in this article I will point out some tips to make everyone look great.Because how people look in photos does not depend on their looks. It depends on the photographer’s ability to bring out their photogenic side.So if you follow the steps that we will be talking about in this article everyone would love the outcome of their looks in photos.

First of all in my service as a San Diego photographer everyone needs to look good. You won’t have satisified clients if they won’t like what they will see in the photos. So you must learn to do these tips to have satisfied clients. The first tip would be the use of soft lighting.  Soft lighting is using cloudy days or indirect window light. It helps in showing the features of the subject in a flattering way.

The next tip you want to follow for your subjects is to keep the background simple.  Especially if you are doing wedding photos that is something that is hard to do.  But in my event photography San Diego service it is something that must be done.If you can keep distractions away from the subject then you can focus more on the subject.

Paying more attention to the position of the heads and the hands of the subjects would be the next tip.Not being able to do so would make the look of your subject very awkward.  This is especially important for my San Diego corporate photographer service. You do not want to be taking shots of your subject and making them look uncomfortable.

So you should abide by these tips and you would be amazed at how the pictures would come out.But on top of that your clients would love you and your shots because they look great in them.

Tips in taking more clear pictures

As a professional photographer a person should know how to take nice clear pictures. It should have a nice focus. And if it is an action shot the photo must not be blurred. But not a lot of photographers are professional that is why they still commit mistakes in taking photos.  So here are a couple of tips to help you take better pictures.

Focusing the shot would be the first tip.Or in other words how to focus correctly on your subject.  Obviously being a San Diego photographer it is very important in weddings. But if you do not put your subject in the center the subject can get out of the focus. To resolve that you must first put in the center of your shot the subject.  Then you would half press the camera because this automaticallly focuses on the subject.  Then you would put them off to the side and take the shot. This would look great if you want subjects at the side of the photo.

Next tip is really good for action shots.  As a event photography San Diego service a lot of events are going to be action oriented events. This means that your subject would always be on the move.  The trick to doing it well is to once again do the half press trick. That way it will focus on the subject and the good thing about it is that it will also reduce the shutter delay. This would lead to an action photo that will not be blurred.

The subject getting too bright is what the final tip is about.  This happens a lot doing San Diego corporate photographer work.  The trick is to once again take advantage of the cameras auto features. Here you would point the camera at something that is brighter. This would result in the camera making it less brighter. And once the camera does that then you should take a photo of the subject. You will see that the subject is not as bright anymore.

So there are some of your tips in making you better in photography.
